AnalyZe's team is composed of a network of about 20 experts with a core team of the following persons:

 

Jean-Marc PHILIP, founder and Director of AnalyZe sarl, was an economist expert at the European Commission from 1984 to 1991 then Official of the United Nations between 1991 and 1994. He is a senior economist who specializes in data analysis, public finance performance and applied economic modeling. He is also a researcher and lecturer in sustainable development at Aix-Marseille University as well as a senior economist expert advisor on technical assistance projects financed by international organizations in multiple but complementary fields in economic modeling and forecasting, budget planning, econometrics, statistics, data analysis, economy of energy and sustainable development. He developed applied CGE models and simulation programs to address a variety of economic policy issues, ranging from agricultural policy to services trade liberalization analysis, including transport and energy policies. His main clients are the European Commission, the United Nation, the African Development Bank and the World Bank.


Jean-Marc PHILIP graduated as a top civil engineer of the INPG (Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble) specialized in hydraulics and planning. He then completed a first doctorate in Information and Communication Technologies at Aix-Marseille University. For his Ph.D. dissertation, he pioneered the use of business intelligence tools within administration of developing countries with the practical implementation of follow-up indicators supporting the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF), Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers (PRSP), The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), etc. He completed a second doctorate in economic sciences at Aix-Marseille University for which he used the new GAMS/MPSGE modelling language for assessing the potential impact of an Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between Ghana and the European Union.
Jean-Marc Philip has multiple and complementary competences as an engineer, a data processing specialist, a development economist, a statistician and an economic modelling analyst. He has a high level of competence in the implementation of intelligent data base and computerized decision-making systems within public administrations, particularly in developing and transition countries and SME (Small and Medium Enterprises). His work focuses primarily on developing and implementing decision support tools in developing countries’ administrations. In this context he leads the development of decision support and planning tools, as well as their implementation within different ministries in developing countries.
He was also several times the technical manager leading the implementation of information systems within the framework of management capacities reinforcement programs financed by International Organizations.

First Analyze's partner, Georges HAUPT is a senior expert in development of custom applications in business intelligence. He was previously Deputy and Technical Director of the Computing Center of the Faculty of Economics, University of Aix-Marseille II, then Head of Department of Computer Resources of this faculty between 1977 and 2010. He was also Co-founder of the Inter-University Computing Center and manager of Aix following training activities:

  • course Statistics and Informatics at the three Universities of Aix-Marseille (IAE Aix-en-Provence, Faculty of Economics, IUT) ;
  • computers, communication networks, information system design, programming ;
  • courses on the use of SAS-Statistical Analysis System-(GREQAM - Research Group in Quantitative Economics of Aix-Marseille ;
  • courses on Internet technologies (CEDERS - Aix-Marseille University).

Georges HAUPT was responsible for computer work in many studies, researches and theses within the three universities and CNRS laboratories of the Academy of Aix-Marseille.

Second AnalyZe's partner, Christian POIZE is also a senior expert in the field of integrated IT solutions, design of architectures and implementation of informtion systems.
Engineer from the "Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Informatiques et de Mathematiques AppliquĂ©es deGrenoble" (ENSIMAG) in 1979 and the French Institute of Management (IFG) in 1982, Christian POIZE has 20 years experience in the field of data processing and  omputer systems organization. He is particularly involved in the following areas:

  • Development and implementation of database management systems within big enterprises and administrations ;
  • Development of solutions in the field of computerized management of public finances in particular as regards the definition of software architectures;
  • Development of management solutions in a WEB third party;
  • Design and implementation of computer solutions to budget management and business plan for the modernization of public finance;
  • Technical assistance and project management of ERP integration;
  • Implementation of IT solutions in the areas of financial management, calculation of costs, human relations management and customer relationship management (CRM);
  • Design and implementation of IT plans and quality assurance management.
